IELTS is the world’s leading English language test, accepted by employers and professional bodies in English-speaking counties worldwide.
There are two versions of IELTS. If you plan to work or undertake work-related training in an English-speaking country, take IELTS General Training. If you want to register with a professional organisation, take IELTS Academic.

IELTS tests are available up to once a week in over 120 countries. Book online with the British Council and get 30 hours of online preparation materials free of charge.
