Our official British Council IELTS test centres can help if you have visual, hearing, speaking or learning difficulties. If you need a modified version of IELTS, please be aware that you are required to provide medical evidence to support your claim. The medical report should be written in English and within a period of two years before the test date, by a medical professional and needs to be provided 6 weeks prior to the test.

Your English language ability will be assessed objectively, regardless of any disability or special needs that you may have.

Special arrangements include:

  • Modified Listening CD
