British Council IELTS Test Taker Portal Password Reset Instructions
British Council IELTS recently moved to a new identity management system. If you have forgotten your password, you will need to activate an account on the new system. This is a simple process, but we have outlined the steps below to help you.
Steps to reset your password:
- Open the Test Taker Portal
- Enter your email address
- You will be redirected to the refreshed British Council login page.
- If you have forgotten your password, enter your email address and click on Reset
- This will take you to the password reset page. Enter your registered email address and click submit
- You will receive a password reset link
- Click on the link provided in the email.
- The link will open the Test Taker Portal, where you can set a new password and complete the process.
- Log in to the Test Taker Portal using your email and new password.
- You will then be prompted to migrate your account.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and provide a New Password and Date of Birth to complete the migration to Identity Account.
- Once migration is complete, log in to the Test Taker Portal using your Identity Account credentials and navigate to ‘Results’ section.
