Arcada University of Applied Sciences

Arcada is a modern University of Applied Sciences, located in Helsinki, Finland. We offer high-quality education and further education in Swedish and English for our 2,700 students. We believe in close contact with the workplace and cooperate with some ninety higher education institutions and universities throughout the world. We also conduct practical research that is socially relevant to the world we live in, so a degree from Arcada is seen as both relevant and highly desired by employers. We offer programmes in business administration, media, culture, technology, sports, social welfare and health care. Education is carried out under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Education and Culture within a legal framework and educational policy determined by the Finnish Government. Arcada is a university of applied sciences, granted permanent status by the Council of State.
