This week, IELTS – the world’s most trusted English test - has launched a new campaign reminding us of the importance of human conversations.

Making comparisons between scores on different tests is challenging because test products differ in their design, purpose, and format (Taylor, 2004, Lim et al, 2013) and the greater the difference in design the more problematic the exercise is.

IELTS, the world’s most recognised English language proficiency test, is accepted by more than 10,000 organisations worldwide, including universities, employers, professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies.

IELTS, the world’s leading English test for study, work and migration, celebrates a new milestone this month as 11,000 organisations have now signed up to accept its results. This milestone comes as people around the world are reviving their plans for international travel, migration and study.

Test takers around the world will have the option to take their secure test online when IELTS Online starts global rollout early in 2022.

The world’s most trusted English language test can now be taken from the convenience of home in select countries and territories around the world.

Test takers of the world’s most popular high-stakes English language test, IELTS, will soon have access to a new feature to help them boost the score they need to achieve their global learning and career goals.

In a move to further enhance convenience for its global community of test takers, IELTS has announced that it will now accept UK eVisas as a valid form of proof of identity for all IELTS for UKVI tests taken in the United Kingdom.
