History: Being one of provincial key universities, Hebei Normal University originates from Shuntian School (founded 1902, Beijing), Beiyang Women’s Normal School (founded 1906, Tianjin). In June 1996, the former Hebei Teachers University, Hebei Teachers College, Hebei Education Institute (founded 1952) and Hebei Vocational and Technological College merged in to the new Hebei Normal University.
