Cultural Institution CIC is an organization serving the Catalan society in the fields of culture and education. Va ser fundada a Barcelona, l'any 1950, per la pedagoga M. It was founded in Barcelona in 1950 by educator M. Rosa Farré i Escofet amb el nom de Centre d'Influència Catòlica Femenina (CICF), amb l'objectiu d'introduir la dona en els corrents culturals i religiosos d'aquells anys i engegar projectes relacionats amb la seva promoció cultural i religiosa. En la difícil situació creada per la dictadura, el CICF va realitzar una tasca de conservació i difusió de la cultura catalana tot formant part d'un ampli moviment de resistència cultural.
