Founded in 1425, UCL welcomes students from 120 nationalities, as regular students and as exchange students. The two campuses (Brussels and Louvain-la-Neuve) host some 21,000 students and 5,000 staff (hospital not included). UCL is a comprehensive university and a research intensive institution, with a particular care for the quality of education. Graduating from UCL means acquiring first class scientific training, but also building the soft skills useful for employment, like languages. At Master's level, nearly all programmes include the opportunity of an internship.
